Current high school freshmen and sophomores should apply prior to their respective sophomore and junior years. Applications are available on-line by clicking on the link below, at the United Way of Central Iowa, from current students or alumni, or through area high schools and youth organizations.

Class Selection will be completed and announced by June 1. Previous classes have included students each from fourteen Des Moines Metro Area public and private high schools. The class of 07-08 includes over 35 students from thirteen Des Moines Metro Area schools. Please note that participation in the YLI Program is TUITION FREE.
